I anguished over buying this dress for two whole months. It's never available in a Medium in Black, and finally one day there were two (obviously returns). I bought it anyway and then went to the Guess by Marciano store to try it on. Big mistake. If only I'd done that in reverse.

The dress is so cheaply & poorly made...I think I already knew it would never look as amazing on me as it would on an airbrushed, styled model, but I still had high hopes that it would be stylish and a gorgeous dress or even top. What this is, actually, is a thin, cheap tank dress/slip that a large cutout of nylon has been sewn onto to form the cape effect. There is no sleeve...when you raise your arm up, the "cape" comes up as well and your thin, shoddy "slip" shows.
